Mermaids were a race of aquatic creatures that dominated the undersea society and the oceans. They are mostly friendly beings, that are extremely hostile towards strange quests. In the oceans they are the most powerful beings that can match up to demon's power level but on land, they are very vulnerable so most of their operations are near the sea, ocean or other water-based environments. They are at war with Leviathan and other creatures who seeks to rule the ocean and Atlantis. This is conflict as a arise because leviathans were the one ones who created the Mermaids and therefore fighting back for what is theirs.
